How to Make Apple Honey Chicken Drumsticks

Step 1: Simmer
In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, bring apple juice, vinegar, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and onion powder to a high boil. Cook until the sauce reduces to a syrup and coats the back of a spoon, about 25-30 minutes.

I just realized that it said to cook at a boil. I had it at a low boil. I just turned the heat up and will see if it will thicken.
Making this recipe now. The syrup has been cooking for about 40 minutes and will not thicken.
