Watsonville, Calif., June 8, 2021– You might have heard of farm to table…but how about grill to glass? Make Dad feel like the MVP he is by pouring him a Grilled Peach Apple Smash cocktail. Juicy, ripe peaches are seared on the grill and muddled with thyme sprigs, lemon juice, honey and gin in a shaker and then topped off with a Martinelli’s Unfiltered Apple Juice floater. Swap out the gin with soda or sparkling water for the mocktail version. Garnish each glass with the remaining grilled peach slices and fresh thyme sprigs before serving. Sit back and enjoy!
Grilled Peach Apple Smash Cocktail
2 fresh peaches, halved, pitted and cut into thick slices
6 thyme sprigs + more for garnish
2 ounces lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
3 ounces Martinelli’s Unfiltered Apple Juice
- Preheat the grill. Once the grill is hot, add peach slices to the grill. Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Add 3/4 of the peach slices, thyme, lemon juice, and honey to a shaker. Muddle together, add gin and fill with ice. Shake to combine. Strain into cocktail glasses.
- Top each cocktail glass with 1 ½ ounces Martinelli’s Unfiltered Apple Juice. Garnish with remaining grilled peach slices and thyme sprigs.
